Dissapointed in Huggies

I have a 4 month old baby and I bought 2 jumbo packs Huggies Gold and as always I was never disappointed in the nappy.5 years ago I used it for my daughter and I never had a problem with it. I Bough it now again and wow I'm disappointed cause after my baby has made a pee pee in the nappy its wet and you can smell the urine I mean he's a 4 month old baby and its not suppose to do that I cannot keep his nappy on for an hour cause when I take the nappy off the urine did not soak into the nappy. No Huggies gold are more expensive that the pampers he used and I really thought it was quality but to my disappointment its a total waste of my money and I don't know why I bought the nappy in the 1st place maybe I should just change to pampers again cause I cannot be wasting my money and to think I Bought 2 jumbo packs of 82
