Company does not exist

I have paid the deposit and made arrangement for my furniture to be moved from Jeffreysbay, now it seems the company does not exist - the company telephone does not exist, the company registration number 2003/021540/23 does not exist, the address on their letterhead 372 Elsecar Street, Kya Sand, Randburg is a fake address. When I phone them on their cellphone number the put the phone down in my ear - and all I wanted was to confirm the move date is as agreed per signed agreement. Is there any way I can find out whether I was scammed?
