Cancelled 5 days before my wedding

I would definitely NOT recommend studioSEVENTEEN to any bride.
We booked studioSEVENTEEN's services 6 months in advance. We also paid the FULL AMOUNT in advance. We only met the photographer once and thus we requested to meet with the photographer once more before the wedding. After several requests made, he eventually phoned me back 5 days before my wedding. He blatantly refused to meet us. After a heated discussion, the photographer said we should find another photographer and he rudely hung up the phone.
The same day his attorney contacted us. The attorney said that studioSEVENTEEN wishes to cancel our contract and due to the cancellation we will be refunded. No money was paid over to us. Later we received e-mails that studioSEVENTEEN is out of office and after further requests made we received other e-mails that the money will only be refunded at month-end. Month-end came and went and we were still not refunded. We finally resorted to seeing an attorney to assist us.
No bride needs the worry of resorting to legal action to get her own money back and much less a photographer that has such an unprofessional and short-tempered attitude.
