Constant calls with regards to so called Markhams

Since the beginning of 2013, my husband has been receiving calls from a number of MDB consultants claiming that he owes money on a Markhams accounts. This account was settled in February 2001 at the Eastgate branch. We kept the receipt until end of 2008 as the law states that you only need to keep receipts for five (5) years. My husband has explained this to them on a number of occasions yet they instists on a copy of the receipt which is redicolous. They are extremely rude and is always stating that they will have a stopped order activated against his salary. This is truly unexpectable and is causing tremedous strain on his health as they would phone at any time day or night. Should they not stop we will have no choice but to see attorney to have this resolved. However at this stage we do not have the money for this legal action.
