Adex Electronics Benjamin Curtis has no integrity

Benjamin Curtis advertises electronic products at half the price of what you would normally pay through the SA retails shops.
He will quote you the price as advertised on the web (Locanto) and add an additional R200 for delivery. He promises to deliver within 6-8 hours upon receipt of payment. This is all a lie - be careful of this man.

On the 27th October 2013 I ordered a Nikon D5200 camera and made a deposit of R6700 to Adex electronics. Once i made the payment, Benjamin advsied me that the good will be deliverd the very next day. When i did not hear from him, i asked when should i be expecting the goods and he sent me an e-mail advising me to pay R4000 of import duties and that 'these people' are 'punishing' south Africans for ordering from abroad (SUDDENLY)

He then asked me to pay the R4000 and that the company would refund me the same amount within 7 days.

I then cancelled the order and asked for a redund and i was told that i would recive the refund affter 30 days.

Please be cardeul of this guy. He is a and has no integrity at all. He now does not repsond to my calls or e-mails.

My advise would be to stick to [URL Removed] for all purchases from abroad.
