SAMSUNG LED TV - POOR PRODUCT

I purchased a Samsung LED TV worth R 7 000-00 at House & Home on 6 February 2012. At the end of 2012 I experienced some visual problems with the TV and was under the impression it was only signal problems. I received a courtesy phone call from House & Home during January 2013 to remind me of the next SALE coming up during February 2013. I informed the sales lady during our conversation that I am experiencing some visual problems with the TV. The TV was still under guarantee when I informed the sales lady regarding the problem. On 31st March 2013 I visited House & Home and informed them about the problem again. They informed me that the TV is not under guarantee anymore and I need to take it to Liptronics for repair. I called Samsung and received a reference number 711 977 242 and on 30 April 2013 handed my TV set in for repair at Liptronics.
Liptronics informed me that SAMSUNG was not prepared to pay for the repairing cost which entailed the replacement of a new screen. After taking this up with SAMSUNG directly they came back to me and informed me that "Kindly note that the item is out of warranty and you will be liable for repair costs, however you may request from Lipt
