Academic Development Programme
Grade 12 tuition - misrepresentation/ fees

My son in Grade 12 is enrolled for extra tuition held on the UKZN premises. The tuition is provided by an organization called Academic Development Programme (ADP). The of cost of the tuition is R2000 per subject. My son was enrolled for two (2) subjects. On enrollment at the beginning of the year, I signed an enrollment form. I was told by Priscilla that cash payments will only be accepted. Since enrollment, I have paid to date the amount R2000.During the month of May, Priscilla requested that the balance of the money R2000 must be paid before the start of winter school which is in the second week of July. I subsequently approached Priscilla on the 1 June 2013 to discuss payment of the balance on the 24 June 2013.She humiliated me and said that my son cannot attend further tuition until the balance of money is paid in cash. I explained to her that I had already paid R2000. She was adamant that my son will be forcefully evicted from tuition if he attends and that I have forfeited the money I have already paid. I called her to discuss the issue. She was verbally abusive. She then sent me a vulgar sms.
