Have a solar geyser put in on contract from Solahart, firstly they supposed to come after 2 years to service, that didnt happen!
Just before xmas 2012 had to call them in, as when it wasnt sunny, our water was cold, guy came, said it is to do with the electrical side, then he went on to repair it, he had to go into the loft to look at wiring, he fixed the problem, but also telling us that he wasnt a qualified electrican.
After he had left, we tried to put tv on, dstv wasnt working, so the next day we called in our dstv man, the problem he said was - wires in the loft had been broken - tripped over, basically. that cost us R750 to fix.
We got our bill from Solahart - R740, i phoned them to say what had happened, they said they would phone back, eventually they did, i spoke to some manager a Mr. Hicks or something like that, he was so rude, he said his 'guy' told him that he hadnt done it, i said of course thats what he would say. He didnt seem to care that the 'guy' wasnt a qualified electrician. he got very obnoxious and refused to have our bill reduced. after a few choice words, i put the phone down on him. i even emailed their umbrella company in Australia, no response from them
