Do not go near Wendy House Direct

We are extremely upset and disappointed with the service we received from Wendy House Direct following our order of a wendy house on a platform with a spiral slide.

Our order was placed and 50% deposit was paid on 29Jul13.

We scheduled installation for the 20th August. Dan did not arrive so we rescheduled for the 22nd August, then the 23rd, then 24th, then 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th. Each time he failed to arrive. When we were able to get hold of him by phone to try to find out what happened, he provided some excuse (prior job ran over, wendy house being painted off site, waiting for slide to be delivered, worker went home and couldn't load etc, etc). Only once did he actually proactively call to inform us that he would not be coming at a previously arranged time before not pitching up. In ALL other cases we had to call him.

We then went to inspect the supposed wendy house that had been made. The workmanship was shoddy, splinters everywhere, not to spec at all and not ready for delivery. As such Dan agreed to refund us. To date this has still not happened despite numerous requests!
