Common Windows 8 wipes my PC clean

Today I woke up and booted up my R22000 Windows 8 Lenovo A720 only to find that it wouldn't boot. Its stuck in an Automatic repair loop which appears to be a common problem with Windows 8 as a result of one of your updates or something. All my files are gone. I'm so off. Windows 8 is a piece of siht. I should have bought an Apple iMac. Never again!!!
