Reeds Motor Group
G2 Certified car has been in an accident

Cars & Transport

I bought a Chevrolet Spark in Feb 2013, only to discover that this vehicle has in fact been in an accident. This after the sales person assured me that the vehicle could not have been in an accident as it's G2 Certified. According to him, the vehicle was never in an accident.

I discovered broken glass in the air vents, and, upon closer inspection (with help from a panel beater and a GM dealer NOT related to Reeds) found that the front windscreen had been replaced, the bonnet removed and resprayed and the front bumper in all likelihood removed. I pointed all of this out to the technical manager at N1 City, but he said I have to take it up with Reeds in Tygervalley. I've not been able to secure a meeting with the general manager, but my sales person was quick to suggest that it's probably "just a fender bender". That's a shocking attitude, you sell me a car that's GUARANTEED to be accident free, but when I point out it's been in an accident, you tell me it's just a "little" accident?

What else on that so-called check was not checked properly? There's more to this story, but I'm running out of room.

I'd humbly suggest you do not purchase a vehicle from Reeds, they are frauds.
