Hyundai The Glen charge us for their fault

Cars & Transport

In the middle of January this year our H1 panel van's cluster and ABS pumps packed up. This was due to, according to your "EXPERTS" from us starting the vehicle using a booster starter as the battery had run flat over December. When we took the vehicle to Hyundai "The Glen" the central locking worked and the ventilation system worked. When we got the vehicle back neither the central locking nor the ventilation system worked. When we approached your branch at "The Glen" we were told that the problem is ours and was caused by the cluster being damaged. Strange thing is that they never mentioned this to us whilst they were doing the repairs to the vehicle. It's only when you tell them that things are not working do they suddenly get a brain wave and blame it on us. First of all, they had the dashboard out looking for the fault, I was there when they had it out. The central locking worked as we locked the vehicle at their premises.
Probably nothing will become of this and will be dismissed as just another complaint, we had no problem paying for the repair that was faulty but we won't pay for something they broke or forgot to fit properly
