I have had the worst experience from courierit in johannesburg.
I urgently needed a parcel from durban to be couriered to jhb by 11am today. I emphasized this numerous times to the sales consultant, Chadwick Barry who assisted me.
At around 2pm yesterday I got a call from courier IT confirming that they had goods to fetch from me. I indicated that I was the contact person for delivery and gave the corret details to the lady. I received no further calls etc from Courier IT so i assumed all was fine. I left work at 4:30pm. This morning I get into the office and see tha I have an e-mail from Chadwick Barry saying that proof of payment was not received by the company in durban. I called the company and they said that they acknowledge receipt. I called CourierIT and they say my parcel will b delivered on monday or today at an extra cost of R800 borne by me!!
Has Chadwick Barry not heard of telecmmunication???
Does he not realise that people are not constantly sitting at their laptops waiting for e-mails.
Had he called me yesterday as soon as they heard that the dispatch compay did not have proof of payment i could have sorted things out!
Is it my duty to constantly run behind courierIt???
