PATHETIC SERVICE FROM BMW - AUTO GLEN

I booked my vehicle in at Joburg Auto for Monday 4 February 2013 to address an unusual engine noise. The dealership requested to keep the vehicle overnight to work on it. I received a call this morning to come in as the Service Manager needed to talk to me in person. Nothing prepared me for the shock that awaited me when I got to the dealership. I was taken to the vehicle and was horrified to see the engine covered in sludge. The service manager informed me that according to the CIA system, the vehicle had missed its last two services and it was last serviced at 29000km. This was particularly concerning as I ensure that the vehicle is serviced on time. I called the service department at Auto Glen where I have taken my car for the past 7.5 years and I spoke to Carlos Mendes. Carlos confirmed to me and the Service Manager at Joburg Auto telephonically that the car has been serviced at 48000km and 65000km, however, Joburg Auto is unable to pick this up on the system. I was duly informed that my service plan has been suspended. No work will continue on the vehicle until the missed service issue is resolved.
