Approved inspection centre failed to submit report

In December I changed vehicle insurance provider. As part of this I was required to have a vehicle inspection - one of the locations provided was Securefit Randburg. I went there on 3 December at 13:15, had the vehicle inspected, and was told by the staff member there that this report would be submitted to my insurance company (MiWay).

Nearly two weeks later, the day before my insurance cover with Miway was due to start, I received a phone call from one of their representatives asking why I had not yet had the vehicle inspected. It turned out that the inspection report had never been submitted to MiWay. I luckily still had my own copy of the inspection form which I was able to scan and email to Miway [Miway Inspection form number M295267]. In the end Miway were very helpful, but they need to be careful about their suppliers recommended for vehicle inspections if this is the kind of (poor) service these suppliers give.
