Willard Batteries
WILLARD AGENTS DO NOT KNOW THEIR PRODUCTS

Cars & Transport

My car a 2005 Toyota Corolla 1.8i GSX needs a new battery. I opted to buy a Willard replacement based on the belief that they sell quality reliable products. Willar catalogue on internet specifies Willard 636 battery as the correct one for my car. I tried to obtain this battery from 3 battery agents who responded as follows:
Agent 1:stocks only Willard. Response Willard 636 is correct battery but factory is out of stock and we do not know when the factory will be able to supply
Agent 2: stocks Willard and other brands. Advises thatWillard 636 will not fit too high. Willard 631 will fit but battery is too weak. Let us fit a Dixon 631 battery off the shelf Surely Dixon 631 equals Willard 631???
Agent 3 Stocks Raylite. Advises Raylite is OE for Toyota. Correct battery is Raylite 636C or 636CS. This battery meets all Toyota technical specs Battery dimensions are compatible to easily fit in car's battery space. Battery is compatible with Toyota hold down battery clamp.
I am dismayed by the lack of interest by Willard agents and lack of knowledge of the batteries they sell. Could Willard Head Office please advise if the do make a replacement battety for my car Is it a Willard 636??
