Service gone wrong

Cars & Transport

On 4 November I took my car in for a 60000km service. When I collected it, I drove home, parked it and later the car wouldn't start and it took me 3 tries to get it going. It sounded like a fuel problem as it turned over but kind of coughed and whined. I took it back to Hyundai on Wed 6 Nov where it stayed overnight for whatever reason and I was informed, very condescendingly, that I am starting the car incorrectly and that I should put my foot on the clutch (I have been driving it for 3 years). I fetch the car and again it would start, then not start, then whine. I called them and took the car back on Thurs 17 Nov (I run my own business and couldn't do without it until then). This time we took a video of the problem along so it could not be disputed. I received a call from them to tell me that the starter is broken (had they listened to me in the first place this could have been avoided) and so is the fuel pump. The parts are coming from Boksburg and the car will be repaired at no cost as it is under warranty. Courtesy vehicle perhaps? I am stuck running a business without a car because they have been without courtesy vehicles since the first time I took the car in!
