Damage from protecting poles around pumps

I damaged my car quite seriously against one of the "protecting poles" around the gas pumps at Centurion on 20 August and phoned Total customer care with a complaint. Poles are positioned in such a way that it is imposisble for driver to see these when sitting in a car and especially from within a bakkie. This is a serious design/layout flaw that Total knows about and does not want to correct, but rather leave customers to continuously damage their cars against. I took pictures and noted that most of the poles in this station was scratced or bent over, some even recently replaced - insurance also confirmed this is common claim they receive. 1) I would like my insurance deductablie paid for this incident, 2) I would like to hear what Total South Africa is doing about this accross all of their filling stations, 3) Why did Total not follow up on the call I lodged on your customer care line (ref # ISS 227469)
