RIP OFF!!!

In my lazyness I stopped at the BP Bergbron petrol station last night just to buy a medium sized can of Mixed Vegetables. Believe me the SPAR is 500meters from the garage but it was easier to stop at the BP.
Believe me I was charged R40-20 for this can of mixed vegetables.
Can this be I ask you??? I told the cahier where to get off and drove around to the SPAR where I paid a mere R17.00 for the same can. Taking into consideration I could have an entire meal from KFC which is also in the same centre for that amount of money.
I honestly would like an explanation as to how this price came about.
