Sowth Side Towing ripping off the consume

My son was involved in an accident on the 14th of January 2013, the vehicle was towed by South Side Towing to Selby from Alberton. I am unable to get my vehicle back as I think the price for the towing is in my opinion exorbitant to say the least. When I contacted them on the 15th, they told me that the cost to remove the vehicle was R7500.00. My son does not have that type of money as his salary is only R8000.00 and as you know, he also has expenses like rent, petrol to work and electricity to pay, now the costs have escalated to over R10000.00, which my son can still not afford. It is ridiculous to charge a consumer R7500.00 to tow a car less that 20 km from the accident. I contacted them again this morning and asked if we can negotiate on a cheaper fee, which you promptly rejected. The car is still on hire purchase. THIS IS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS TO SAY THE LEAST... YOU PEOPLE ARE RIPPING OFF THE CONSUMER!!!
