Requested petrol while drawing money - no petrol

I asked Alifu to put in R300 petrol while I went to draw money at the ATM approximately 10metres away. When I got back to the car and switched it on, it showed I only had less than a 1/4 tank of petrol and usually R300 gets me to half a tank. I suspected something was wrong and checked the petrol pump but it showed R300. I then asked the petrol attendant if he had done anything differently or perhaps made a mistake in filling all R300 petrol to which he rudely responded that he didn't and started getting defensive. I proceeded to call the manager which was even more unhelpful. They were adamant that it was not their problem and I feel I have been wronged. Afterwards I left with my receipt and after taking a photo of the fuel gauge to see if it would adjust to show the appropriate amount of petrol, and realised that it wasn't going to happen. I am highly disappointed in the service I received today and would like to be reimbursed for the petrol.
