After purchasing a brand new Ford Focus 2. Sport in May 2012, the battery ran flat (due to my own stupidity). When trying to unlock the car with the manual key (which is hidden in the automatic key), I discovered it was blank, so never cut. This necessitated the call out of a locksmith to unlock the car. Initially I was upset about the fact that Ford sells cars with uncut keys, but I could still live with this. I logged the call on Ford's website, and after a week finally got a call from one of their call centre operators, who was as useful as ice in the Antartic. After promising to get back to me, 3 weeks have gone by and NOTHING. Then I receive an e-mail from some Case Manager asking for my VIN nr, no introduction, no explanation, just provide your VIN nr. Their service is beyond pathetic. Up till now I've been a big Ford fan and would always recommend them to any prospective car buyers. Right now, I wouldn't buy a wheel barrow from them.
