Exchange policy

I wanted to exchange a russell hobs kettle for the second time due to the fact that the original one was replace on the 14/09/2012. The kettle normally has a warranty of 1 year. If the kettle was replaced on the 14/09/2012 than surely the replacement kettle's warranty must start from that replacement date. On this assumption i took the kettle in for exchange. I was told to go and pick a other kettle due to the fact that they do nor have a russel hop in stock. This i did and was told to wait for one of their employees. After a 30mins wait i was told by this employee that they will not replace the item. When i approach the manger he told me in harsh terms that he is not gonna exchange the kettle. I ask for an exchange policy which he told me he do not have. He then remind me again that he is not gonna exchange the kettle. After all this i can assume that checkers do no have confidence in their products.

Up to now did not have any response as promise by Mr Bongiwe Paka Customer Relations. It seems that customers do not count.
