Truworths do not accept returns with the tag

I wanted to exchange 2 jerseys to the value of R620 for smaller sizes as I got them as a gift. The manager at cape gate was so rude and spoke to me like I was a stupid to think I could exchange goods without a docket. I do no understand why truwoths is the only place that does not accept returns without a docket or receipt. Edgars and woolworths do exchanges without dockets, so please could truworths invest some money into updating their technology because we are in the 21st century and its very pathetic
