The DSTV on demand [URL Removed] service is almost always broken. Almost every single time I visit the website to watch something, i experience a problem. These are some of the numerous problems I have experienced:
- Pages, for example 'channels', 'movies & series', etc won't open. I only receive an error message about a server error.
- A video wouldn't be completely loaded onto the internet. I would play half of a video and then it would stop.
- A video would stop playing a few seconds after starting to play it.
- a video wouldn't even play at all. instead, i would just receive an error message.
And the technical support provided is even worse. All they recommend is checking that everything is up to date and then they try playing the same video on their side. If they don't experience the same issue then according to them there is no problem to be solved. Absolutely shocking! Just because the video plays fine on their side doesn't mean there isn't something that's causing it to not play on my side. And whenever they say it will be referred to the technical department, I don't hear anything back from them. It's disgusting
