Samsung recommends MM All Electronics to repair their products, in my case a fridge. You have to pay a R450 call out fee before they will come to your premises. Once there they will quote for repairing the appliance and deduct the R450 from the quote. They fail to mention that once quoted, before they do the work, you have to either pay up front before knowing the job is done, in my case R2050, or pay somehow before the technician leaves the premises.

I am not able to be at the premises from 6am to 6pm to inspect the work done and confirm it is working, and they cannot have someone there at other times. They will not budge from this process to accommodate you. If this kind of practice is unacceptable to you, then I recommend you request another provider from Samsung and if they cannot recommend someone else acceptable, stop using Samsung as I am about to. I will be taking this as a R450 learning fee. My 10 year old LG fridge that is sitting next to my 3 year old Samsung fridge is still purring along.
