Family Fires we contracted to install 3 fireplaces in our new house as it was being built 8 months ago. They were paid for the job at the time, and when winter came we discovered a mountain of errors. They charge for an official Morso Flue, but installed a home made flue that they installed upside down so the house was smoked out on the first lite. Trying to repair it they scratched the flue in many places, and were happy to just leave it as that. They then dropped tools damaging the cemecrete floor due to sloppy workmanship, and in the end just never returned to the job that they had already been paid for. During the build they also install a fire in our bedroom that they had no knowledge of the installation process and damaged the unit. I contacted Morso to tell them of the Brand damage that Family Fires was causing and they stepped up to the mark IMMEDIATELY! Thank heavens for Morso and their professional service and workmanship. Lesson learnt NEVER USE FAMILY FIRES! DEAL DIRECTLY WITH MORSO. They are brilliant!
