Cancelled policy / I did not know - premiums paid
Well let me tell you about the bad experience that I have had the 22nd Dec'12. Late at night my husband had a bad spell of allergy with something that he had to eat. He started vomiting - eventually he had no breath - he could not breath - his face was running with sweat. When I phoned the emergency no - the lady told me that our policy was suspended. How can that be? I had to phone the monday 24th Dec '12 only to find out that our policy was cancelled by someone unknown by Oneplan in July '12 already - well I have been paying the policy each month without knowing that we do not have any cover. That is such an awful feeling, especially that we have children - what if they needed medical care? Anyway the person told me on 24/12/12 that he will keep the policy cancelled and for our inconvenience will give a new policy and ask the waiting period's to be wavered. He will then phone me on the 27th to confirm, well that never happened - so when I phoned Mr Govender told me that is not possible, well after many fights - I asked him to keep the policy cancelled and rather re-imburse the premiums. 7 days waiting period - still nothing has been paid - and they are unhelpfull at Customer C
