Name Change

My mother decided to treat my daughter and buy her a flight ticket with Kulula from O.R Tambo to George for the 23 June 2013. She bought the ticket online and as soon as she received the confirmation she realized that she forgot to change the persons details from her own to my daughters details. She immediately phoned Kulula to change the name on the ticket and she explained the error as this was the first time she bought a ticket for someone else and not herself. They flatly refused to change the ticket to my daughters name and now she sits with a ticket that was supposed to be a surprise for my 14 year old daughter in her name.

I feel this could surely have been rectified as she phoned within minutes of receiving the confirmation.

We used to only fly with Kulula and this to me is the worst possible customer service received from them. Surely they could understand. We did not want to cancel the ticket only rectify the details as she made an honest mistake.
