Personal detail and bad attitude

I received a call also from someone at Travel freedom also giving me all my personal details like ID no and Bank detail. She offered me a week away holiday that I was apparently selected for and wanted to debit my account with R400 for activation of my account. When I inquired about some more info, she got irritated that she has explained everything to me already and when I told her that she must send me the detail first before I can make such a commitment, she really got rude. I am uncomfortable that one's personal detail are just available to anyone these days.
They should be willing to give more info as to what this is all about and give one time to consider it before just giving permission for a debit on one's account. I was really shocked about the way the call was conducted. Don't make the decision on my behalf.
