SINCE WHEN DO I HAVE TO GIVE PROOF OF PAYMENT??

I am absolutely disgusted at the service my mother Bridget Damons received. I booked a flight for her from OR Tambo to King Shaka airport last night on flight Flight No: JE271. I paid for the flight and provided my mom with the flight confirmation that was emailed to me. I have also done booking previously exactly the same way. NOT once was I asked to provide proof of payment!!! ALL that was required was the flight confirmation I got via email when doing an online booking and my ID. And the person that assisted my mother when booking in was totally rude and not accommodating at all. if I was aware that proof of payment was needed I would have given it to my mom to provide to whoever when booking in. I hope she does not get the same when she comes back to JHB next week
