The level of service I have received from mango airlines is nothing short of pathetic. On their website they have a payment option that lets you use your card number and pin via cell phone banking to make payment. The payment takes a couple of days to clear if you're with another bank. Mango cancels your booking in the mean time. Why have that option if you're not willing to wait for the money to clear? Anyways that's fine. Now i call my bank to ask them to cancel the pending debit, which they inform me they cant do unless the merchant (mango) instructs them to. I have spoken to at least 5 different call centre agents at mango who have all been giving me the runaround passing me from department to department without any help whatsoever. I would book with another airline but I've got over R2000 which mango won't instruct my bank to release. Absolutely shocking service. I made the booking on Tuesday. It is now Friday.
