Inconvenience to customers because lack of focus

Last night i went to park station to book a bus for my mum who was going to Durban for a funeral. the lady at the ticket office was too busy talking to her colleges that she booked a bus that already left 6 or 8 hours earlier. she then asked us if we want to leave in the morning and we explained our situation. she then said she will make a plan and see if someone doesn't show up for the bus she Will put my mum in their place and i told her we didn't pay R375 for 'Ifs and Buts'. at 9:30 i told her the bus will be here just now and we do not have a ticket so give us they money back so we can book another bus and she told us its sorted out. Finlay when the bus arrived there was no space because the also over booked so they put my mum on a Small seat next to the driver. we argued with them so they wanted to give our money back after all buses left which meant my mum will Miss the funeral. At the end after all the arguing they got another bigger bus for everyone. That was an inconvenience to us because we hard to almost fight for a place on the bus even though we paid for it
