I took a Putco bus from Dobsonville to Sandton, the bus usually doesn't have a name but question marks on where the bus is suppossed to have the name of the location where the bus is headed. I took out three ten rand notes to pay the bus & the bus driver refused to take it as it was not R24 & he asked me to get off the bus. I refused to get off because I was going to pay, as I asked for R2 from one of the passengers he got up to say that no one in the bus should give anyone change in the bus & he was shouting at me to get off the bus & still refused until a gentleman in the front seat gave me R2 & I paid the bus fare. As he went on & on about how we should pay him the exact R24 & not anything else, the same gentleman apologised to him as if we did something wrong. Are we suppossed to beg drivers to take us to our destinations even if we are paying them? Its not fair!
