I booked a ticket to Cape Town for myself and my fiance late last year to attend a function and we were both looking forward to a breakaway weekend. Unfortunately something came up earlier this week and my fiance is now unable to attend. she was devastated that she could not attend the function witjh me and we eventually decided that I should take a friend along instead. Unfortunately Kulula was not interested in helping us and although most other airlines allow it they refused to change the name on the ticket. In fact they originally told me it was an international standard (Anna at the call centre told me this) and that there was nothing they could do. I have since discovered that this was not true. I also sent an email to the customer department but they have not bothered to reply. Changing the ticket is not an option as the function is this weekend and I will not send my fiance alone to Cape Town on a later date. So I loose all the money I paid for the ticket. Sorry for you was the attitiude!
