I made an online booking for a trip to the Eastern Cape. While making the booking, I selected the option to get a a Window Seat on the Right Ride of the bus at the Top Decker of the bus.
When I received my booking confirmation, I was allocated Seat 9B which is not what I had requested.
I sent an email to reservations requesting this to be changed as I had requested when I made the online booking. The call center agent who phoned me a advised that changing a seat number would not be possible without cancelling the reservation and making another booking. This meant that I would pay for another ticket and only get a refund for my first tiicket in 2-3 days time.
How difficult can in possibly be to change a seat number on a booking? Why can't the booking be cancelled and a new booking made without me paying for a second ticket?
This is just a poor booking system!!! Never making another booking on Greyhound again.
