For the last two weeks I have been unable to book flights on the [URL Removed] website. After making a selection of the specific flight/s (that do show as available), soon as one presses continue, it states "Your flight selection is no longer available". I have tried using Saver, Plus, Classic & Select - same problem. I have tried different dates and times - same problem. Yet, when phoning the Call Centre (who aknowledge a problem on the website booking facility), the selected flights are available. BUT at a much bigger airfare.
I have email SAA customer service and the website queries email contact- the only response is: "Kindly be advised that when the seat you are trying to purchase is sold out the website would give you a message that reads " Your flight selection is no longer available"". Duh - I know; the site show the flight/s are availble!
They have asked me to send screenshots which I did and also to provide additional other information. My final response was - go onto your own site and test, validate and correct your information. (E.G. you have a flight showing from Pietermaritzburg to JHB on 8 November at 18H25 - the call centre said the last flight is at 17H25).
