I attended a presentation last month done by TravTrust on behalf of Dream Vacation Club explaining what Dream Vacation Club offers. The information I was given was incorrect and misleading. The TravTrust agent told me that if one doesn't want to use their timeshare points they can use the member discounted cash option for all their South African resorts and international ones. It was only after I became a member and tried to make a booking using the cash option that i found out that the cash booking option is only for bonus breaks and it is for a few selected resorts. I tried to cancel my contract immediately when i found that out and this was during the period where a member is allowed to cancel. I made many calls with the last call being somehow helpful by giving a member query email for the attention of the Director. Even today i haven't received any response.
