I have now reached the end of the line with MTN Billing. For the last couple of months, I receive sms communication from MTN telling me that my account is in arrears and if I do not make immidiate payment my line will be suspended. This after I pay my account, every month dilligently. What has been happening is I contact the UNHELPFUL L Call Centre, only to be told I have outstanding money. When I refer them to all my payment statement, they acknowledge that they can see I have made all these payments, and cannot see why I owe money, BUT I NEED TO DEPOSIT MONEY or my service will be suspended.
Yesterday I went to the MTN store in Parkview shopping Centre, hoping that they might be able to sort me out. Only to be told that they cant see why there is a problem on the account, as everything seems up to date. I seem to have a perfect paid account, BUT STILL EVERY MONTH my cellphone gets suspended. I am a pensioner and it is now becoming too much for me to pay MTN twice every month and then STILL be cut of every month for non payment. I wish they had an office where I could speak to someone face to face and not just a call centre that keeps on giving me the run around.
