I have taken out a new RED contract with Vodacom together with a twin sim service at the end of March 2013. Since the 1st day, I've noticed an intermittent issue whereby calls to my primary number do not always come through. (with the slave number switched off) I often test from my home phone or my wifes phone number and the result is the same; "This call connot be connected" So people cannot always call me but I can call them. But if one dials my slave number then the call comes through to my primary number even though the slave number is switched off. I have advised Vodacom customer care of this issue and sent emails back and forth with new callling times etc as requested by Vodacom Engineering. Result: Vodacom suggested that there could be a problem with Telkom or 8ta. But it is not only Telkom or 8ta numbers that cannot call me!!! and I cannot phone every other network provider and complain to them.
In addition to this problem, my handset looses signal every now and then; "Not registered on Network" and then I have to restart the phone to be back on the network. I wouldn't know this happened until I try making a call myself. So my clients in the meantime cannot get hold of me!!
