I recently moved into a new apartment and requested that a Telkom line be installed. Telkom replied that there is no ADSL infrastructure in the area. This is a complete since my next-door neighbor has a fully-functional active ADSL connection using and Telkom as ISP. It is clear that Telkom does not know the condition of their own infrastructure. How can they blatantly make this claim and expect a loyal customer to just accept this.
I would have expected that Telkom would accommodate a customer's request and not just provide a poor excuse to not install a line. This is completely unacceptable!
