I am unhappy with the service I have received from Vodacom. I took out a 3 year laptop 3g contract with in july 2011 which I have been paying monthly without any interruptions since, I took out another 2 year cellphone contract in December 2012. Due to financial problems, I was unable to make my payments for 3 months (Jan - Mar) in the current year. In April (the current month) I fully paid my account including the month of April, I expected my services to return but I was told that my accounts have been deleted off the system and to reactivate i would have to pay a further R600.00. I fully understand that faulting on my commitment to pay the accounts caused this, but I was never informed that my account would be deleted nor was there any form of communication from vodacom to try and retrieve payment of my accounts. I refuse to pay the R600.00 to reactivate my accounts due to this, and I dont recall receiving gifts and compliments for early payments since 2011, so I dont understand why Vodacom was quick to delete my accounts.
