Still no feedback from Telkom regarding promotions they are running without having stock available of products they are advertising. Based on their advertisements you can get a free cordless phone when you apply online for your landline to be moved and reconnected at a new premises. I have visited two branches to collect the cordless phone I am apparently supposed to receive, but was informed that neither of the shops have stock available nor have they had any stock for quite some time. The branch in Menlyn confirmed that they have not had stock for at least two months. Based on their promotion you also have to collect the said phone within a two month period from date of installation. If they go without stock for two months, none of their customers will be able to make use of their offer. Does this not constitute some form of false advertising?
