I'm typing this, completely disappointed by Cell C's service and how they've misrepresented their network coverage.
I've been a CellC customer for just over a month now and I have never experienced such terrible network coverage before. I live in central Johannesburg (Killarney) and before putting in an application to get my phone, I ensured I checked their coverage in my area. It showed completely red (which means excellent coverage) and this is the only reason I took the contract. Had I known how pathetic the network was, I would've thought twice. I also experience this issue at work (Johannesburg CBD).
I can not make any calls; no messages, emails, whatsapp messages come through; no apps work etc.
I've tried tweeting them many times, but have not gotten a response once!! If this is the way they treat customers who have recently come over to their network, I'm afraid I've made a big mistake.
