I recently applied for an ADSL line from Telkom and specifically stated I don't want a new telephone number. Reference to call: 73640172A.
The ADSL installation was very quick and works very well. I recently received my first bill and notice that I have been assigned a new number for my ADSL and have been billed for 2 numbers for 2 months, although I specifically stated I don't want a new number.
To ensure I'm not being billed any further I have cancelled the 1 line that should not have been activated in the first place. REF: 75439895A
I phoned Telkom earlier this week (REF TOC 695359905) and queried the double bill, after which the gentleman (Supervisor) would have phoned me back. He also gave me his direct number: 012 311 6734.
He has not phoned me back and this number just rings all the time.
I would like to give Telkom the opportunity to correct this before I take further steps.
