Porting Autopage to Vodacom - 12 days and counting

I have signed up for an iPhone contract via Vodacom Direct and requested to port my number from Autopage to the new Vodacom Direct SIM. It is 12 days since I have received my iPhone and despite phoning the Vodacom After Sales Call Centre almost daily, my new SIM is still not working. I still have service on the old Autopage SIM with my old phone, but on the new contract SIM I get "No Service".

When I phone Autopage, they say that the port was successful and that Vodacom must deal with the port. When I phone Vodacom, they usually request me to remove the SIM, switch of the phone and try again.

I suspect that the porting was never done successfully and that the Call Centre keeps on stressing that all should be fine, because the SIM has been activated, but the actual problem of the porting, which with another department is not sorted out.

I must stress that the Vodacom After Sales Call Centre consultants are professional and that the Vodacom Call Back service works well, but my issue is still not resolved.
