I have made numerous phone calls to Telkom about the "non-existent" line that we have. Our residential line does not appear to work and this has been carrying on for the past month. A house phone is essential as we have sick elders living with us and with no line how are they supposed to call anyone in an emergency?!
Not one representative has even had the decency of calling to let us know the problem, no one has come in and checked the external lines, and yet im supposed to pay my monthly bill even though the line/ phone does not work. That is ridiculous.
Surely one month is enough time to send out a Technician to see whats the problem.
