Since 1995 with my first ever "half-brick" motorola I was a proud supporter of the first ever, and biggest cellphone company in SA, VODACOM but sadly we have lost a true friend, and I believe they should change their slogan to "IF YOU WANT LOYALTY, GET A DOG". So for the last 18 years of loyal support including a contract in excess of R1500 per month with them for the past 4 years I will be leaving Vodacom. And don't even try and ask them if they could match their competitor's rates, "so bad so sad we are loosing you sir". The competitor is offering me a Iphone 5, 200 sms's, 200 min's, 800mb data for R399. Closest vodacom can get is R799 - DOUBLE THAT! and wait, theres more, they offer me state of the art phones on my current contract that is'nt even a third of the value of a Iphone!
Really sad Vodacom that you will loose many a customer like this...
