After getting poor service and a nonchalant attitude from the staff at the Cell C Vincent branch in East London, I decided to contact Cell C's call centre directly as I had placed notice on my MTN contract and wanted to apply for a Cell C contract. I also required that my MTN number be ported. I dealt with Mduduzi Zwane at the Cell C call centre in the last week of March 2013. He promised me the best level of service and explained that delivery of my new phone would take a few days longer than expected due to the long Easter weekend, which I found quite understandable.
I emailed Mduduzi on 4 April to enquire as to when I could expect delivery of my new handset. He replied and informed me that my handset would be delivered the following day, or latest by Monday 8 April.
As I had still not received mu handset by Monday afternoon, I emailed Mduduzi again. No reply! I emailed him again the following morning (9 April)... no reply! I then left a message on his cell. I eventually spoke to him in the afternoon and he promised to phone me back with feedback. I sent him another email yesterday afternoon (10 April) and received a "read receipt". Guess what - still no feedback!
