Wrong colour phone delivered

Have been with Vodacom for 15 years for my phone and several years for wife and two daughters. Decided to try Cell C for one daughter when her contract up for renewal now. Phoned Cell C call center late last week and ordered iPhone 5 via R399 deal. Specifically asked for white one and was told they had in stock. My daughter wants a white one and I would not have gone ahead if told chance of getting a different color.

Phone delivered today, and its a black iPhone.

Called Cell C and told that if I read contract it says they do not guarantee colour and that if they collect it now will take up to 21 days to deliver another one and still cannot guarantee will be white.

I have not opened the packaging but they say will need 7 days to check that all ok.

Also told the system has enabled SIM once delivery happened so even if they take it back the contract term has started!

Very disappointed given this was test case with view to moving entire family.

Now waiting for someone to call to explain process from here. Surely should be escalated immediately and resolved?!
